It's kind of a weird situation/thing/dynamic, you know? Like, I've known him/her/them forever/since we were kids/for ages. We hang out/do stuff/get along great. But there's this whole thing/vibe/energy that comes with it because of the best friend part. It can get tricky/complicated/messy sometimes, especially when it comes to dates/parties/family gatherings. I just try to be myself/keep things chill/stay neutral, but it's not always easy.
